Highland Gateway Glamping - The Anthropod

These are the steps we take to ensure a healthy, clean environment in and out of the Anthropod.

  • We operate a contactless check-in and check-out procedure.

  • All doors and windows will be open to help the fresh air circulate around the pod during cleaning.

  • The pod is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each guest has departed to provide a clean and sanitised environment for the next guest, including: -

    • Soft furnishings, hard surfaces, fridge, microwave, and floors

    • Crockery, cutlery, pots, and pans.

    • Electrical equipment.

    • The wet room including toilet.

  • All bed linen, towels and tea towels are washed, even if not used by the previous guest.

  • A disposable cloth and dishwash sponge are in the welcome pack for the guest to use and then dispose of.

  • Outdoor furniture is cleaned to a high standard.

  • We ensure our hot tub is emptied, cleaned, and refilled after each guest to keep the water as clean and fresh as possible.

  • The hot tub is of industry standard, and the water is tested for correct chlorine and Ph levels every day. It is also tested by a lab regularly to ensure quality.

Highland Gateway Glamping - The pitch facilities

  •    The shower, washing sink and toilet facilities are cleaned and disinfected regularly.

  •      The pitches are checked for cleanliness and litter free after each guest

  •      The recycle area is checked frequently to ensure tidiness and cleanliness

  •      The Elsan disposal and motorhome service area is checked twice a day for cleanliness.
